Q.3 Translate any two of the following paragraphs into Urdu:
(a) Drug addiction is really a very serious threat to any society. In Pakistan alone, there are almost five million drug addicts. Addicts undergo numerous economic, social, and health problems.
(b) She and her family had entered into a considerable bond of friendship with me. I was humbled by their sense of gratitude towards me. I felt a sense of renewed strength in me.
(c) The mosque has a spacious forecourt surrounded by a continuous vaulted arcade. It has ablution facilities on both sides. In the center, there is a fountain which is rather small in contrast with the magnitude of the courtyard.

The Indian National Congress was founded in 1885 by a liberal English man Mr. A. O. Hume. He had joined the Indian Civil Service in 1849 and retired from service after shouldering different responsibilities. He had been watching the ugly law and order situation in the country quite frequently. He was of the opinion that the highhanded rule of the Britishers was paving the way for any unexpected outburst of violence. His plan was to put a safety valve to minimize the mounting sentiments against the British rule. It was meant to provide an outlet which could ventilate the revolutionary spirit. Mr. Hume put his plan before Lord Duffrin.
